and Elizabeth Turner de Carlisle 3/16/2013 New Heirs to the Alpine Throne: In the Shire of Corvaria, the populace witnessed the victory of Keith the Wanderer in the Coronet lists, fighting for the honor of his inspiration Ekatarina Tatiana Aleksandrovna. 12/26/2012 Message from Their Alpine Highnesses: Looking towards Spring Coronet, the style of the Coronet tournament is going to be standard double elimination tournament. There will be no weapon restrictions, so bring your best. The finals will be fought to the best 2 out of 3. We are requiring a letter of intent to fight in Coronet. Example This letter of intent should be done in a manner consistent with your persona. We are requesting that letters of intent not be made of food. Your letters of intent will be due to Us by 10:30 am, on Saturday March 16th. We have included an article about letters of intent on this site to give you some ideas about their content and look. We intend to use the list board to display the pairings, so you will be required to provide a shield tile for the list board. The shield tile should be 3x4.25 inches, and are heater shield shaped, with a hole on the top and bottom of the shield. Template Your arms do not have to be registered to place them on a shield tile, but We would like to encourage everyone hoping to vie at this level to have arms that are at least in the process of being registered. We have placed a document on the Principality Website as a template for making your shield boards. Additionally, We would like to see a lot of pageantry in the procession, so you will be required to have a banner for at least the fighter. We will be using heralds to announce you into court, so you are encouraged to bring a herald card with the way that you wish to be announced. This card should include your name, with the titles you wish to be announced with, as well as your inspirations name and titles. Title stacking is a garish practice and is frowned upon, but you can have yourself announced with what ever titles you are entitled to. When writing these cards, be sure to write out your name phonetically to assist the herald in pronouncing your name. Assistance with this can be found with many of the heralds in the Principality. There will also be cards available for this at the list table as well, should you not have one prepared. We will be discussing the topic of same-gender couples entering the Coronet List with the Crown Prince and Princess at Our earliest opportunity. When We know Their will, we will communicate it with the populace in a timely fashion to give you ample time to prepare your letters, shield tiles and banners. We will be adhering to Principality Law and requiring all Combatants to live within the boundaries and be residents of the Principality. We will not be granting exceptions to this requirement.
